A Little Camera Shy

I'm sure someone's used that subject title before. Anyway I'm about ready to pull the trigger on this camera, but my search for dealers is getting a bit confusing. I'd like to pay the greymarket price, but I feel like I'm definitely going to get ripped off. Has anyone bought one of these cameras from a "not-authorized" dealer, and been satisfied, and who did you buy from? What "not-authorized" dealers are recommended.

Also can you output an HD analog signal through component cables to monitor on an HD monitor. I've read conflicting things.

I'm surprised no ones leaped on here to tell you to buy from an authorized dealer yet. I can't recommend a grey market dealer but Ive seen one or two folks make recommendations. If you absolutely can't afford authorized, I guess you got to do what you got to do.

If you do decide to buy from authorized, I highly recommend fullcompass. Ordered on wednesday and received the camera on friday. Follow up call to make sure everything was good. Continued costumer support.

It's your call, but I would guess 99% of people here would tell you to buy Panasonic authorized US only.

The boards are full reasons for that recommendation.
