A Human Camera

I have always been amazed by the abilities of autistic savants. The human brain is AMAZING. Now, if I could only figure out how to control mine....

I think I remember that in the docu, they said he only got his skills after being bumped on the head (or was that another savant)

Wow...

I can't believe that.

Almost more impressive than the guy who learned Icelandic in a week and could recite pi for nearly 5 hours.

Very impressive indeed.

Would have been interesting to see how accurate the ordinary neighborhoods were. They concentrated mostly on the well-known buildings.

Impressive though that was, if the ordinary stuff was as spot-on, that's where the genius really is. It probably was, so they should have shown it.

kim peek is not an autist though contrary to popular belief.

i am not sure if the documentary discusses this but he is missing something that connects the left side of the brain to the right side of the brain.

it really is miraculous though.

Daniel Tammet is his name, and that documentary is probably one of the best, and most interesting, I've ever seen.

"Brain Man"

The entire show used to be on google video, but I can only seem to find it in parts now...
