C100: A good starting profile for interviews/ nice skin tone

Greetings, all. My new C100 arrived this week, and I want to roll it in place of my existing Canon 5D Mark III for my production work. I shoot primarily "talking heads" interviews for corporates and nonprofits, cutting with b-roll of whatever the subject is talking about.

Right off the bat, I notice the increased detail with the C100 compared to the 5D3. And the increased crop, of course. But choosing a picture profiles is a little daunting to me compared to shooting on a DSLR where I simply shot on a "Faithful" profile and added some sharpness and saturation in post.

Does anyone have any favorite standard profiles or modifications to those for getting a nice "baked-in" interview look. Below is a set of typical interview setups from my 5D3 interviews (3 point, interior, with the occasional practical/greenery, etc.) Hit me with that "secret sauce," please

Thanks!

Wide Dynamic Range is a good place to start, though you might want to add a little saturation if you are hoping to get close to those images.

Cowpunk has a sticky list of profiles that are custom made. I've personally had some issues with the way they skew red tones in a big way, so I tend to stick with WDR and small variations of it. A lot of people love these though, and they do like nice in some scenarios.

+1 on Wide Dynamic Range.
Everything I shoot changes daily. One day its a wedding, the next is a mechanic/dentist for Yellow Pages, the next is an R&B music video.

For some of my own project I'm going to play with some new picture profiles / variations, but so far WDR has been solid for the wide variety of stuff I've been shooting.

I've been rolling with Paul Frederick's C100 profile called Wide PF:

Gamma: Wide DR
Black-Master Ped: -1
Knee ON: Slope: -15 Point:109
COLOR MATRIX (This is the biggy) WIDE DR Gain:+30, Phase: +3, R-G: -20, R-B: +11, G-R:-23, G-B: -14, B-R: -10, B-G: +1

I'm finding it a nice improvement over the default Wide DR setting :)

I use Wide-DR, and occasionally experiment with Canon-log to confirm that I don't like it. To me C-log is clean and flat when not graded, and noisy and muddy when graded, so bad no matter what. Maybe I'm just missing something, but I feel like a lot of people use C-log because coming from DSLRs in the lower end or RAW cameras in the higher end they live by a motto that "flatter is better" even if it's not. I don't know. I don't state as a fact that C-log is bad, just in my experience.

How do you add saturation in-camera?

Wow, thanks so much for the relies and advice. I'm definitely going to dial-in WIDE PF. Some fantastic imagery you shoot, Paul! Great thread, too. I appreciate the help, folks!
