A GH13 Project from Start to Finish

Wow, Bruce. I was going to just check a few minutes to see what you had but that was excellent from start to finish. Very captivating (content and cinematography).
Seriously, that was on par with (and better than) many documentary type films I have seen aired.
Thanks for sharing, I can truly understand why your clients were happy. Best of luck!
Cheers,
Sam.

Was on second boat for some and at the bow of the picture boat to shoot close ups of sea lions... Used an improvised jib arm...

Nice. The improvised jib worked darn well. Love the look. Impressive. I want to work with that sea lion, too.

This was really fantastic. Smooth pro movement, lighting, composition, sound, and editing on every shot.
What was your workflow? Al final cut?

Does anyone know if there is a way to do those "type" title effects in vegas.. where text appears from left to right as if typed ect?

Just as everyone else has said, it looks great. I did not notice any FPN or Banding in any of the shots. Has the hack helped improve the camera in these areas?

Wonderful footage and edit. About timelapses, did you use low shutter feature in video mode or did it by "traditional" way using remote shutter and photo mode? What values did you use to sky night footage?

Very polished and well done.

May I ask you more about you working methods? I.e. how many people are on the crew and how do you divide your roles? What size of lighting package do you use? How much time do you spend in general on each inverview, i.e. scouting locations, setting up lights, finding right angles.

Sorry for so many questions and thanx if you find time to answer all of them.

I've been doing interviews recently for a no-budget thing where I'm literally the only person on the crew: operate camera, record sound, light (or don't light), and even conduct the interview. Plus I'm usually interrupting people from their daily routine, so I don't have much time to set up. I manage to get decent results, but getting everything great usually doesn't happen. There's always something I should have paid more attention to.
