*A GAME* Name that movie (based on a still)

im guessing 2 is one of those heartwarming coming of age stories from the eighties and the main guy (whose head is aligned so i cant make him out) went on to become a hollywood leading man as did veryone who starred in those films.
 
As far as I know, it wasn't made for TV. But IMDB does list an alternate TV title, so it probably made its way there soon after release.

You don't recognize Rob Lowe? Someone else did. :)

The trick is recognizing the young lady...in her film debut.

I'm surprised that you didn't get the first one.
It's a classic of the genre.

As for the bonus one...
I am guessing it is a case of no one wanting to
state the obvious.
 
I usually post easy ones, but I think these probably won't be, but I'll be really happy if someone knows them! They just happen to have a certain visual and storytelling tone that I really like.

nope, it's definitely not a film that spent any time in the theaters (if at all), I just recently picked it up at the video store primarily because there were references to Memento. Admittedly it didn't get great reviews but who cares, I liked it (even with it's weaknesses). Apparently it was made around 2003 and released to video around October of last year.
