Hello everyone. I figured I should create a thread because I'll probably be posting more as shooting progresses.
"A Drop of Water" is a short about a man who moves into a new building in a new city when he begins experiencing paranormal phenomena. Budget was $5000. The flick is shooting with a 7D and a T2i, with the EF-S 17-55mm and the Zeiss ZE 85mm and the Technicolor Cinestyle.
The crew is fairly inexperienced. Many of them are former students with whom I studied in school. My goal with this short, aside from making a good movie was to put together a crew of reliable people to bring with me onto an independently financed feature film. In fact, this short came about as a challenge from an investor who likes one of my feature film ideas, but wants to see what I'm capable of with a small budget.
Here are a couple stills from ADOW (after applying the LUT):

This scene was made to look like it was lit by candle light, which it partially was, but we obviously had a lot of supplemental light going on. I'll have more stills after this weekend. I don't want to post any more from last weekend because we shot mostly spoilery scenes including the ending.
