I think for the most part that the handheld shake gives this video a nice dose of character, for what it is. And you know what? I really liked this. It's not another bad pet video on Youtube where some whacko gives his dog a VO, or anything silly like that. It's smile-inducing, nostalgic, and simple - everything it should be.
 
Nice. I suggest some kind of shoulder mount. You can tell the heaviness of the M2 rig. I had this problem my first couple days with the unit. Although i dont own a shoulder mount, i learned how to get the best smoothness by holding it certain ways.
 
Thanks!! A shoulder mount would nice. Using my tripod wasn't going to work because I realized I wanted to be at the same level as the dog to give that "Bailey perspective." And the adapter was a homemade 35mm adapter made by Edweirdo. By the way, nice website! I'm looking to get one started, was urs expensive?
 
Mahalos Kdawg! I'm in the process of switching out the asian macro to a redrock achromat to avoid the aberration. Thanks to edweirdo and snodart for the tips!
