My first edited piece using the 7D.
Shot and edited on the same day, I was looking to create something that was a bit grungey and raw, as well as experimenting with various new technologies such as the 7D, the whole post workflow, Magic Bullet Looks and exporting for vimeo.
It's a very rough and ready piece, I tried to stick to the guideline of a 1day shoot, and I think it shows. The footage is very shaky, partly due to inexperience and also because it was pretty damn cold! I know next time to be a lot smoother, and to be cautious of camera shake when pulling focus. Focus shifting was intentional, though I did miss the mark a lot of times and had to correct the shot. There is a lot that could have been done to improve the shots, and I'm going to take this on board when I do another shoot next Saturday!
