I roadtested an FS7ii this week....it's a nice camera
It has the 18-110 f4 lens on it.
Couple of queries...
(1) The shoulder pad - how far back can it go ?
(2) Does anyone get a fogging up of the viewfinder ? I wandered outside the video shop into warmer weather and that happened
(3) The rod for the viewfinder, how far out from the camera can you move it ? I was trying to wear headphones (over ear) but the camera I tried again had it's own version of the eyepiece rod system.
(4) With the adjustable arm folded up parallel to the base of the camera and the viewfinder on, is it possible to put it in a decent sized carry case that isn't a Pelican ?
The camera I tried had a Chroziel shoulder rig on it which has extra rosette and moves the camera back on the shoulder a bit more.
I imagine the Chroziel and cheese plate on the camera would have added a bit more weight to it, but it was still managable.
I compared the footage from the FS7ii and my Z280 - and the FS7 is streets ahead - that's in STD-5 (REC709).
