A couple of 2 minute short films I made

Hey everyone, just wanted to share a couple of short films I made a while back, and wanted to get some feedback from fellow filmmakers. On what I could of done better or what was good. I would also gladly return the favor of watching any of your films and giving you my thoughts and insight.

So we've been doing a couple of short films for this online film contest called Film Fights (I recommend you checking it out) Anyways, here they are:

So for this contest, you had to remake a "bad" short film from their past contests. We won! So I consider this one my best work to date.

This was another short film that made it to the finals, but we weren't as lucky as last time.

This last one is just a scene of something we're working on. Completely shot in black and white, which felt awesome!

I have a couple of more shorts that are also around 2 minutes, you can visit my channel. Leave me a comment on the profile channel so I can link up, and I'll be more than happy to check out your work and giving you some constructive feedback.

Neat work...

Only two suggestions thus far...

Sound: Lots of echo in your actors speech... Maybe use a more centralized mic?
Lighting/Focus: Soem of the shots are underexposed, and some are out of focus. If you lit the scene (I know you probably run and gun like the rest of us) it would make the image pop a little more....

Good stuffs!

Thank you so much for your feedback! I really appreciate it.

The great thing was I just recently got my 7D and been putting it to good use, the bad was pretty much my mic broke down, and then my lighting. I'm currently saving to get new equipment (pretty much all my savings went into the camera and lenses). So I've been reduced to using the on board mic and just daylight (which is a exposure nightmare, IMO)

The Scout film was a focus nightmare (my friend was the videographer, and doesn't know so much about DSLR yet) it was frustrating to edit and watch at the end of it.

Just some stuff to give you some insight, but I still appreciate the feedback. Especially the lighting. Thanks again!
