A clean LCD

HI guys

I got a few finger prints on my DVX's LCD screen and When I was cleaning my lens and viewfinder I tried cleaning the LCD with my lens cleaner.

Instead of cleaning it, there is now a foggy mist left. When it is on there is no problem in operation and you can't even notice the mist but if in the sun you can see the mist reflecting the sun.

Anyone know how to clean the LCD?

this is probably wrong, but i cleaned it the same way i clean a lens. lol

If you search the interweb you may be able to find some LCD cleaner. you should be able to use the same procedure youd use on and LCD monitor.

Hoodman makes LCD wipes that work like a champ. Whatever you do, stay away from household cleaners.
As a side note, I have Kodak lense cleaner that makes really nice foggy smears on my lense. I can never get all of the smears off. The Hoodman wipes work perfectly.

Sony makes a cleaner for their LCD screen tv's, costs about $20 and the bottle is a nice size. Best Buy, Circuit City etc, should have it.
