Cool... I just picked up a T3i, been shooting a gh2. Wondering what picture/profile settings you're running?

Are you running Magic lantern?

I had some problems with ML v2.3, while shooting a motorcycle show, the camera would hang up with the status LED on when I powered it off. After a few minutes with the light on and completely unresponsive, it would finally shut off. Then it would be fine again. That happened several times during that day. I was switching back and forth between photos and video.

I uninstalled ML and shot some more without any incident.

i just tried Tragic lantern v2 today and did not have any issues.
 
picture profile is called 'vision color'. a small portion is also Cinestyle. I'm using magic lantern on my camera, but only for color temp. changes and ISO. I never had any issues with it though.
 
so you didnt do any post grading or correction??

this looks great i love the music comes off like a indie film montage

Thanks! And there's definitely some color correction. Mostly upped the blue in the blacks and upped the red to warm the skin tones and high lights. also used magic bullet to give it a more 'raw' look.
 
Lovely. I tried something like this once. It's a great way to take stock of your life. What lenses were you using?
 
Jesse: Here it is. It was an attempt to shoot one shot every day of that month.


I deliberately shot it on a crappy Canon camcorder because I just wanted something I could throw in my car and take everywhere without worrying about it too much. If I do it again, I'll def. use my T2i.
 
that was pretty nice. I dont mind the quality for journal things like this. made it more home movieish and fit it really well actually.
