A Beautiful Day - the 17th of May (dvx100 & sgpro)

just reminded me but, what happend to that "finding his identity" film go?
I still remember those stills looked awesome

Yeah, we've been delayed because of schedueling conflicts and our "girl" in the movie had not yet been casted (up until recently).
But the movie will be done around june 15th..

Here's some photos of "the girl": She's just perfect for the role, look-wise and personality. (we think at least)

Thank you Shaun!
Yeah I agree with you on that HD can sometimes be fake.. but I have to say that the Lumix GH1 is really something else.. I tried pushing the colors on a GH1 clip I found on vimeo and it looked just awesome!

Yeah:P

Thank you!

I export from adobe premiere as .avi with no compression.

Adjust the settings to 1050x576 pixels (PAL) and square pixels (very important)..

And then I use quicktime pro and export the avi file as HD (1280x720) with the h.264 codec.

You can also export from adobe straight to HD, but I tried that and it didn't make the quality any better.. +it took a lot more time to render and also took a lot more space.

Oh and I used the Canon FD 35mm f/2.0 lens.

what were the project settings for adobe premiere cs3?

Thome?
What do you mean by late?

wow yeah definetely need to experiment with something like this...what were your settings for exporting the video then? the quality is amazing, great job!

Thanks:)

If you look at page 3 in this thread, well.. nevermind.. copypaste is a nice tool:
