A 3-chip 1920x1080 & 60p Camcorder?

[JamesGK]

Does a 3-chip 1920x1080 & 60p Camcorder under $20k exist?

Not the Fs100...

[Bruce Watson]

Panasonic ag-ac160 will do that, for a lot under $20k USD. Variable frame rate up to 60p in 1921x1080.

That's 1080i/60 on the ac160. I am looking for 1080p/60.

The AC160 today shoots 1080/60p, but without sound and it flags the footage to play back in slow-motion.

Sometime early next year it will get a firmware update for full "live" 1080/60p with audio too.

That's awesome! I hope the NLEs get on-board before this happens. Hopefully still LPCM audio...
