900 Person - Superintendent Retirement Dinner (60D, HVX, T2i & more!)

[DannayZay]

I was hired by the Long Branch Board of Education to shoot this giant retirement dinner for the Superintendent. I went in with three crew members in total and the following equipment:

Canon 60D with 18-135mm kit
Canon T2i with 18-135mm kit
Panasonic HVX200 with SMT57 handheld mic
Sony VX2000
Zoom h4n recording the DJ mix
Zoom h1 recording ambient sound

All of the audio including the music was recorded that night, no additional music was chosen. This was edited in the most concise possible way to streamline a story of Mr. Ferraina, I would definitely like to know your thoughts (it is 56 minutes)!

I tried to color correct my best for the budget as well.

Enjoy!

^ nice, but I doubt anyone outside of that environment is going to want to sit and watch an hour of a retirement dinner. :/

I did scrub and noticed that its very warm in its color, was that your intent?

Very true, I wasn't expecting people to watch the entire thing, just a general flow of the video. I went with the warm color since that was the closest to actual lighting of the event. The footage had deeper reds and oranges - tried to balance it with more blues/greens. Thanks for your reply!
