7D - wind noise reduction ?

Whenever I shoot while rolling , the wind --even if not windy-- is there.
Any help ? Ideas ?

External mic with a deadcat on it?

And also an external mixer with an AGC disable technique. The 7D has that crappy audio recording otherwise.
