7D - what do I need to know?

OK, so I am lighting a very low budget feature film starting this weekend. The writer/director is an acquaintance of mine. He just bought a 7D and will be shooting the movie with that.

Thing is.. he knows everything else about production but I know for a fact he is no cameraman.

So, I have a feeling I'll end up having to take over that aspect as well.

I have never used the 7D (I have am HMC150). What do I need to know when filming with this camera? Quirks? Suggested settings? If someone knows of some good links then please post them.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=62wx5S0jHCk This guy has a series of videos on YouTube that cover both the 5D & 7D in respect to shooting video. I haven't watched them all, but it looks to offer quite a lot. Definitely would suggest as your first port of call.
