7D 7D vs HF-S200

I was thinking about buying HF-S200 but then saw the 7D. I know that HFS is cheaper from 7D but as I currently have another DSLR that I would sell, It would make up price difference for me.
I do shoot action/extreme sports every so often so I really like 8fps stills from 7D over 3.7fps from T2. Has anyone used both of them? Another advantage for me is that I don't need DOF adaptor as I would for HFS to be able to use my lenses. Please put your comments if you have any experience with either HF-S200 or 7D. Many thanks.

It's not entirely clear which cameras you're comparing. A comparison between the T2i (You wrote T2, which is an old Contax film camera I think) and the 7D should be fairly easy, but comparing either of them to the HF-S200 is problematic because of the very different feature sets and form factors.

It would be best to decide between a DSLR platform and the HF-S200 and then, if you choose the former, start comparing DSLR's.

Thanks for comment,
So to make things clear it's T2i.
About comparison I know they are different and I'm not really iterested in using HF-S200 for stills. I would keep my DSLR. Then 7D would be much better from my 400D for stills. There is no doubt about it. What with video capabilities of 7D? I know that one of the limitations is max size of single footage of 4GB, with H.264 used in 7D it's approx. 11 minutes of 1080 25fps. As vast majority of my footages are extreme sports it's really rare that single shoot will last that long. Another advantage of 7D is possibility of using different lenses with HF-S200 I would have to use DOF adaptor to get that pros movie look.
I think I would go with 7D over T2i. Just want to hear advantages of HF-S200 over 7D(quality, easiness, ergonomics,etc...).

So question is HF-S200 + 400D or 7D?

7D, You're already answering it yourself.
You don't want to buy a DOF adaptor, you don't mind the 4gb file limit and you're upgrading your stills.

Only advantage i can think of with the HFS200 is the size, and maybe if you use it auto-focus.

But the thing people need to ask themselves more is, what do I want to do with this camera/equipment?

Thanks for help. Now I have few more questions but I need to start new thread as it's different story.
