Here is a music video that was shot with my 7D using reversed 50p slow-mo footage (unfortunately, I didn't have anything to do with it, I was only lending my gear to my friend who was the camera operator... or maybe he was the focus puller, can't rememnber). I was just so impressed with the results, I thought I'd share.

The lens used was a Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8.

Here's the hand held rig... I think it's a franken-rig made up of Redrock and other parts. I can get more info if anyone is interested.

In FCP, when you select Modfy > Speed, there's an option for reverse as well as speed as a percentage of the original.

Yeah but that's not how it was done ( slow mo ) Basically it was shot at a higher FPS and then lowered to 24/30, then as you said the reverse was done like that, but not the slow mo.
 
I chatted with the DOP and he said it was all natural light. Also, some of it was also shot on on a Canon EF 50mm f/1.4, when they needed to capture that extra bit of light.
