7D question regarding good all round settings

So, this is gonna be a really dumb question, but what settings would u personally recommend for the Canon 7D in terms of video? I don't have magic lantern (One reason being that I don't know if it's available for the 7D yet and the other being that I've heard it can screw your camera up!) so it'll have to be whatever is available on the camera itself.

If you arent a complete moron, you will NOT mess up your camera with ML. I think its available, just go check out the website.

But some "good general settings" are:

Neutral picture style:
Sharpness 0 (sharpen in post)
Contrast -4
Saturation -2
Tint 0

Auto Lighting Optimizer OFF
Highlight Tone Priority OFF

Shoot with shutter speed at roughly 2x the framerate for a comfortable motion blur.

Highlight tone priority can help increase the dynamic range a bit, but you get more shadow noise.

the big downside on ML available for the 7D is that you must install it everytime you power on the camera - if that's not an issue for you it just works fine...
i would recommend shooting neutral, as joe stated above, or download the technicolor cinestyle picture profile here: https://www.technicolorcinestyle.com/

other basic settings: Manual mode, manual white balance (adjusting the Color Temperature) and if you're recording audio in camera and you've updated the firmware to 2.0.3 set your audio levels in the video settings menu.

I have a 7D and I shoot prolost flat. I believe it is better then cinestyle for a couple reasons. One is that you don't have to install it, it can be used on any canon EOS camera. And second, cinestyle adds too much gain instead of dynamic range as I have been told.

Here are the settings for Prolost Flat:
