7d purchase from Tigerdirect

Hello all,

Looking at picking up a 7d soon and was curious if anyone has purchased a extended service plan from them before and if they are pretty good at fulfilling them? This isn't me wondering if Tigerdirect is a legit joint or if service plans are worth it. Just seeing if anyone has gotten one from them, maybe even for a dslr, and how that has all worked out...barring you have used it.

Tigerdirect is legit. They are a pretty big operation but I can't speak for their service plans. Is the Canon warranty not enough for your purposes?
 
I do know that Tigerdirect is legit...thanks. I always get freaked out about warranties, I know I utilized a Best Buy warranty for my 40d when I got stuck in a sand storm. But that was a rare occasion, though the 7d would be traveling around the globe with me. I do know the housing on the 7d is pretty impressive. So to answer that question....maybe.
 
I live literally across the street from Tiger. I do all of my computer shopping there if I can't wait for NewEgg
 
Why not use your insurance company? If it's not for commercial purposes, you will probably get a better deal by adding a Personal Article floater onto your homeowner's or renter's insurance policy.
