7D Premiere Pro 2 workflow

What are some good codec options for editing 7D in Premiere Pro 2 on windows? Is it worth the upgrade to go to CS5?
Thanks!

LOL! MPEG stream clip to DVCPro works.. I'm still interested in geek outs on codex and premiere pro 2 vs cs5

The renders are faster and the programs are able to use all of your RAM now. It's a big difference. CS5 worth it all the way.

This is for my work computer running Xp so I already have a gig of ram the Os cant see.. I'm amazed at the native editing with DVC pro.. I just cant help but think I would get better color if I was using a newer codec..

Hmm it plays back fine but still needs to render...
