7D playback problems on comp

Anyone having trouble with clips playing through quicktime? Some of my videos starting to jitter and start skipping. I go back in the clip and it plays fine. I have the 7d set to 1920X1080 30 so maybe too much for my comp?

I am using a macbook with 2.0 4gb ram and videos are on external wd 120gb.
 
I have the same problem. The footage is VERY processor intensive....too much for my older PC which is dropping frames and can only play the clip at around 20fps. Interestingly, if you hold down the right-arrow key, it plays fine.

VLC also has playback issues with 7D footage BUT if you go to Preferences/Input & Codecs/Codecs and set "Skip H.264 in-loop deblocking filter" to ALL, it will play the footage just fine.
