7d footage up to YouTube. Google account now required!

I went to log in this morning and looks as though you now need a google account to log into your youtube account. It will not let me in until I link it to my google account.

I've always felt like google is up to something and that they are profiling the heck out of people for advertising and "other" purposes. This is crap! Goodbye youtube!

Got nothing to do with 7D footage. Youtube is owned by Google, and they've been doing this for a while now. I'm surprised you didn't see it until now.
I don't mind that they did this... I now have one login for my google account and youtube. Much simpler than the old way.

Yeah I know it has nothing to do with 7d footage directly. I was just saying for all of us who upload their 7d footage to youtube.

Simpler yes but profiling more - yes.
