7D Footage Export Problem

Ok, I shot everything in the 1280x720 60 setting. I imported everything with the canon software. Saved them to my external. I converted the clips in mpeg streamclip to apple pro res 422. The clips I wanted in slow motion I changed to 25 fps in Cinema tools. The Sequence settings are Apple pro res 422 NTSC 48 kHz. When I exported the slow motion clips play fine. The audio sounds fine..but the normal speed clips have a weird choppy look to them...Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks. Everything plays fine in FCP..after exporting is when I get the choppy look/problem.

I personally don't like shooting in 60p for anything except slow mo, but I would take the raw normal speed clips and play them back in something other than Final Cut (like quicktime or VLC) and make sure they look fine. Then put them into a 60p or 29.97fps timeline at ProRes 422 HQ... Make sure the frame rate you export as is the same as the timeline...

Your sequence settings should not be set to Apple pro res 422 NTSC 48 kHz if you have footage that is conformed to 25 fps. Thats a 4.97 fps difference so your probably dropping frames or trying to find frames that dont exist.. just reset your sequence to 25 or re-conform your video to 29.97.
