7D footage being 'squashed'

Hi,

I am new to 7D video and just excitedly started work on my first project, and after purchasing NeoScene to overcome my first set of troubles I ran into, I found another.

Hopefully this is a well-known and easily solved issue, but I didn't quite know what to search for...

Bringing in my .avi to Premiere Pro CS5 it looks great and plays fine in my program monitor. But as soon as any effect has been applied, my footage is squashed down, almost as if letterboxed. Please see this image...

This was with only a simple Auto Colour effect added, but this problem occurs with any effect I try. The project settings match the 1280x720 60p footage perfectly. I experience the same issue when using raw Mov files, and the 'squashing' only takes place once I render the workspace.

Any nods in the right direction would be greatly appreciated,

Many thanks.

This seemed to be a GPU issue, resolved by driver reinstallation and a clean CS5 install.
