The saguaro cactus is found only in Arizona, Mexican Sonora and a small part of Baja California.

After a wet Winter this desert area in Scottsdale Arizona is in rare form.

This was my first field day with the Canon EOS 7D and I am absolutely impressed.

Thanks Skilled.. The 28-135 Kit Lens actually performed admirably. It was my lack of ND filter that prevented me getting below f11 even with a polarizer. The Arizona sun is usually relentless. Got my eye on a Fader ND.

My next video will feature the Tamron 17-50 f2.8 VC.

Thanks for watching..

Hello Paul,

At the end of Alma School, north of Dynamite is an unnamed trailhead into the Desert Sonoran Preserve. About 2 miles into the North East corner of the preserve is spectacular. Every time I go it takes me about 6 hours to force myself to head home.

I'll keep my eye out for you. Thanks for watching.

Dan

Dan,

I am going to head up there before it heats up. Or studios are on Alma School. Stop by and see us sometime.

I will have to get out there as well. I'll be in Dallas this weekend but as soon as I get back I'm heading north!
