I just finished editing this short, it was shot on a Canon 7d and Sony EX-3. Its a drama about how people deal with bad news. Taken from personal experience. Please ask any questions, leave any comments or make any suggestions either here or preferably on vimeo (I'm more likely to see those). Also if you're interested heres a bit of a write up on the shoot. The HD Version is here http://www.vimeo.com/14438651
The two cameras mixed together quite well and I still love shooting on both. They both definitely have there strengths, I'm really loving the dof and low light ability of the 7d. You can see some noise on a few of the EX-3 shots. I also used the IndieSlider Mini on this shoot, and quite a few since. Its a great and light weight I can keep it in my tripod bag so I always have it with me. That being said I am thinking of upgrading to a slightly nicer slider as it can be a bit shaky and I think one with gears would be great, and I'd imagine smoother. I also wouldn't trust the EX-3 on there (another perk of the 7d). The post production work-through was a breeze (well as much so as it on just the 7d) I used mpeg stream clip to transcode all the video into Pro Res. Then for color grading I used magic bullet looks (great program for quick grading). Well I hope you enjoy, if you would like to know which shots were shot on what please let me know.
