7D best fisheye for the money

I'm Looking for a cheap fisheye lens with good shallow depth of field at low cost for the FD.. Any Suggestions and experiences??

None of those lenses above are cheap.

Your actual options to my photo experience are as follows:

The Peleng 8mm-I heard bad things about these- $450 or so
The Vivitar 7mm - I've seen lots of good stuff on these and I am about to get one-$350 or so
The MC Zenitar 16mm fisheye- not a true fisheye on the 7d but fishy enough for cool effects- about $175

The Peleng and Vivitar fisheyes are the same lens.

Samyang 8mm AKA the Vivitar 7mm or Opteka 6.5mm

The Peleng and Vivitar are NOT the same lens, at all.

The peleng is circular, the Vivitar/Samyang/Opteka is not. Peleng is Russian, the others are Korean.

$700 is a little too much for a Fisheye in my opinion. I would go with the Vivitar 7mm or Opteka 6.5mm

I got the Canon 15mm f2.8 fisheye for around $500 years ago. It's not as wide on a 7D, of course, but it's good glass. If you want insanely distorted footage like you see in many skate and rap videos, go <10mm for sure; if you just want decent wide and can live with some barrel distortion, 12-15mm isn't bad. Makes it more useful for more shots, IMHO, without getting stoopid wide, but you may be after something different!

definitely the samyang 8mm which is also rebranded as the vivitar 7mm, opteka 8mm, rokinon 8mm, bower 8mm, falcon 8mm....was going to go w/ the sigma but this is the video that convinced me to go w/ the samyang fisheye:

I have a Sigma 10mm f2.8 Fisheye that I am selling on eBay right now. It is an excellent lens and by far the fastest and highest quality fisheye currently available for the Canon 7D. I am happy with a cheaper slower f3.5 Fisheye lens so I am selling the Sigma Fisheye after only owning it for a month..
