7D Availability News (POST ANY AND ALL UPDATES HERE ONLY)

Pre-ordered mine from B&H Photo 9/1 (w/kit lens) and it still is on backorder- and I am chomppin at the bit. I almost shed a tear when I heard a friends friend just wandered into a Best Buy the other day and casually picked one up (with lens).
 
Damn it... went home to make sure to receive it... but still missed the delivery... freaking door bell doesn't work.. .. I have to wait one more day!
 
Just got my 7d kit from best buy, $1899 - 10% coupon = $1701 + $125 tax = $1826.

This is my gift from my wife for my 32 birthday. I am ecstatic. First major camera purchase since my ole boy GL2. I love it, love it, love it. I was still worried a bit cause it's lot of money but after I took some shots with it, both my wife and I agree. This thing is worth every penny. Wish happy shooting for all my fellow 7D owners and those that are on the fence, if money isn't an issue go for the 5D or even 1D. For myself, money is an issue and I am quite content with my 7D. Ok ok gotto go shoot some.
 
Just ordered from BHPhoto. They have it in stock as of this writing. I got the one with the 28-135mm. I'm so excited.:happy:

Bought my body-only 7D last night and it shipped out this afternoon. Bought it from Beachcamera through their ebay store.

7D body for $1699 - $136 (8% bing cashback) so $1563 total :D
 
Ok- Adorama just told me my body only order is now backordered... Will arrive at their store the 29th, then ship. Anyone know of another store with the body in stock or should I hold my order with Adorama? What's my best option at this point?
 
Got my 7D Kit (28-135) last night from Best Buy. They had one at another store and had it shipped free to the store nearest me (75 miles away ;-) Also gave me 10% off to offset the Sales Tax that my Amazon order wouldn't have charged. Pretty exciting...wish I had more time to spend with it but I'm pretty buried right now.

As of 4 o'clock this afternoon, B&H has bodies. Ordered mine today and it's shipping tomorrow.
 
Ah man, this sucks - I ordered the 7D with 28-135mm kit from Adorama on Sunday, thinking they would receive stock around Tuesday, but I still don't know when the 7Ds are arriving. I should've waited 2 days and ordered from B&H - Would've saved around $100 on all my orders too - Damn! I couldn't place an order at B&H at the time, & I really thought Adorama would get some before B&H. Not knowing when they'll get stock - Is killing me.
 
Adorama is great... I ordered on 10/7 and it was a pre-order then they shipped it on 10/14... I mean.. damn.. I didn't expect it to be that fast ;-)

Checked Amazon immediately after posting, just for the hell of it. They had 1 in stock, ordered it, called Adorama and cancelled. Should be here in a week or so.
 
Is anyone still waiting for their Tiger Direct shipment with Bing rebate? The new word is that Tiger's getting a shipment on the 31st but I don't know if the Bing rebate will expire or not, since I placed the order on September 1st.
 
All the Best Buys in Oregon and Washington have been out of stock for weeks and don't expect to receive them any time soon. However, a friendly store rep suggested I call 1-888-BESTBUY and ask them to honor the 10% off coupon for a direct order, which they did. $1710.99 with free shipping! I definitely suggest this strategy for anyone who can't find one.
