Well.. Amazon officially sucks.. Just got an email today,

Estimated arrival date: November 09 2009 - November 24 2009
 
Anyone know the status of B&H? I just ordered one with them this morning. Am I not gonna have one till November?
 
I got an email from Amazon last night that apologized for the delay and upgraded my shipping to next day for free. If they ship in late November, next day won't mean very much to me for sure. That's really sad news about the body only...
 
Sent my wife back to BB with the coupon and they took it, even though it's been over a week. - That's over $200!

HELLO TO ALL IT'S BEEN MANY MANY YEARS! welcome myself back. Anyways I have info on a local Best Buy Store that has 10? (according to the inventory by the sales staff) Canon 7D's on onhand/instock ready to be purchased. Please do not make phone calls because I promised the store manager to be fair for the local shopper. :) Please catchup with me and I'll tell you what the local store is and what city and state (u.s.a).

I just got my hands on 2 bodies. I'll upload footage soon.
 
Well I know it's not Florida, cuz there isn't one in the whole state that even carries the damn camera.

Should I just preorder on Adorama?
 
best buy will tax the order based on your state tax. $1800 for a kit is a about $170 varies
 
The last one is gone in San Bernardino, CA's Best Buy. There aren't any in the Orange County Best Buys. That coupon is really sweet. It makes the kit lens $10!
 
I know I've posted it before, but it looks like they're popping up now and then over at www.fredmiranda.com in the Buy & Sell section. I'm just sayin' if you need one now and can't find one at Best Buy, it might be an option.

Just a quick update. I think Adorama got some more cameras in. I preordered Sept 10 and got the 3-day shipping notice this morning Oct 13.

Yes! I ordered from Adorama on October 1st. Just received my shipping notice earlier this afternoon. I also had an order with J&R placed. I called and canceled and they offered free overnight shipping plus $25 off my order if I decided to wait it out with them. J&R are getting their shipments Oct. 26th I was told. I canceled anyway.

We did, indeed; off the trailer, in one door, packaged up and out the other onto the UPS truck!
Only bodies, though, which was a bit disappointing, but if previous releases are anything to go by, I'd personally be surprised if we didn't get another batch of bodies well before the end of the month (I've been known to be wrong, but I hope not with this one!):undecided

I wanted to chime in here since I have been following this thread for 2 weeks....

I just walked into best buy in Boulder, CO... they said there were NONE in all of colorado. They also said that the coupon was NOT valid for cameras... and if you read the fine print they are right.

BUT they did give me $55 off the camera, which was the price of next day shipping, as a curiosity.

Canceled my Amazon order and camera arrives tomorrow from Best Buy! So walking into the store DOES help, I have called best buy before without much luck.
 
As of 30 minutes ago, Frys in north Houston had 2 of them, they got them just this morning. I wiped out half their stock, they had one left.

Frys is also accepting orders online.

Can anyone else comment on this? I just read the fine print and all it says is that the coupon isn't valid for "Sony DSLRs," but never mentions anything else regarding cameras. Has anyone successfully used this yet?
