Barry, any chance that you have an item number? I called them and the sales rep couldn't find anything in their system about it.

Did you order a body only, or full kit?

My J&R order is sitting at UPS on the other side of town... I know it won't ship to my place until this afternoon.... WANT NOW. I feel like such a kid.

mine arrived from JR this morning. I called them yesterday to see how long the line was for the camera. He said I was #7 in line and there was none in stock. They have a big shipment coming in next week about 200. I was expecting to get mine next week but got the e-mail yesterday that it was shipped. I ordered 12:17 AM on wednesday. Best of luck to everyone. Gotta go shoot!
 
Is that Nowinstock link accurate? If so it sounds like no one in the US has a 7D for sale right now. That seems kinda unlikely.

I called tiger direct, they were out of the camera... and didn't expect it in till the end of the month... Did they really sell out in less than an hour? I would call ten more times to check, but I need the kit lens with mine.

guess I will be patient :violin:

Does anyone think amazon.com preorder is the best bet here?

btw, I sold my d90 around the time the 300s was released. So canon has made one convert here and Im sure many other nikon ppl will convert too.

I have a feeling they are dicking us around.

Same thing happened to me today. Had to call to confirm my shipping address. Nevermind that it's the exact same as the billing address, but apparently J&R doesn't think that's ok. I was only told they would process the order, so who knows if I'll have one heading my way.
 
Just got mine from J&R two day shipping delivery just as they promised. I am happy I cancelled my Amazon order on Wednesday and bought it from J&R.

Odd that they are being so coy about this. If they have them, you would think they wold want to pass them along and get paid. I don't think they have them yet, hence the delay.
 
7d arrived today, from J&D. They held to their word. 2day shipping.

edit: So did anyone else get their 7d without a BATTERY?

Sheesh...I assume it supposed to come with some sort of power supply. Two sticks to rub together at least?

LOL, the body only is supposed to come with a battery and charger, that J&R place got you.

I'd love to blame them, but this has to be Canon, this couldn't be a return since the model is brand new, and I can't imagine why it'd be missing. So lame.
