7D and T2I HDMI problem

If anyone could help us out with this, it would be great. We're running into a problem connecting our 7D and T2i to production monitors. Both cams work with mini HDMI cables, but the monitor doesn't have a slot for HDMI. Here's a pic of the monitor (I hope I'm loading this right) :

I apologize if this questions been answered somewhere else already, but we're running around like crazy trying to get everything set for this weekend and this just came up.

Thank you to anyone that helps!!!

Looks like your monitor doesn't support HDMI- only composite, svideo and component. It must be a standard def monitor. There is no component or s-video out on either camera.
Looks like your only option with that monitor will be composite from the 7d and T2i. You can use the cable that came with your camera package but you will need an adaptor from rca - bnc - female inserts on both ends. Keep in mind you will loose signal to the cameras LCD screen when you run external video out of the camera.

Another option is to run the EOS utility software on a laptop or PC via usb cable. It is a standard def size and has a bit of lag but its a good portable option. A neat thing is you have remote access of all the camera functions via your computer and the camera LCD will still display video.

Actually, it COULD be an HD monitor. I have a smaller Ikan monitor that has no HDMI, only SDI and component.

I think it's an HD monitor. My DP usually uses the monitor when he shoots with HVX's. I may be wrong though; in fact, I usually am.

Yeah I went everywhere today trying to find a VGA adapter. The salesman laughed at me at Best Buy. Said it "doesn't exist."

Sigh. Such is my life.

Ha. No clue on the model number. Too late at night to call the DP. Guess I'll find out whats going on tomorrow!!

Ian- that VGA adapter looks the elusive something that earned my mocking at the hands of the pimply Best Buy sales person, who in fact even took an extra deep, condescending breath when I insisted that such an adapter does exist.

OK, the deep breath thing never happened. But I have to vilify this kid somehow.
