7d / 24p / Shutter Speed And All That Jazz...

Hi,
Is there a way to set the shuuter speed at 48?
Maybe this is the most stupid question ever, but I had to ask...

Sorry...

It's that we all know that the proper shutter speed for 24p to get film look is 48.

Is that can't be set. I think that 50 is the only option, right?

yup...as far as I know, 50 is it.

You can get 1/45 or 1/50. Be aware that if you're shooting under fluorescent or HMI lighting (and it's using magnetic ballasts) then you do NOT want to be shooting 1/45 or 1/50 in USA territories! Stick the shutter speed on 1/60th and forget about it.
