720p60p FCP Timeline Issue

I shot some footage in 720p60p and some in 720p30pn. The issue I am having is what timeline settings should i use in final cut to have the smoothest result in the end. As of now the timeline settings are an editing timebase of 59.94 and the compressor is set at DVCPRO HD 720p60. The 30pn footage looks jittery and when i change the editing timebase to 29.97 the 60p footage looks jittery. Any help is greatly appreciated.

What preferences have you set to import the 30pn and 60p footage in Log and Transfer?

not sure, just the stock settings in final cut.

I think David is asking whether or not you had "remove advanced pulldown" checked in the L&T preference box. It may be defaulted to that and is not required for pN footage.

oh sorry about that. The default "remove advanced pulldown" was checked during all logging and I didnt keep the contents folders. Please tell me im not done for. ha
