720p to Blu-Ray? Uprez to 1080p first?

So I have a program I will be outputting to Blu-Ray. Is there any advantage to uprezzing the video to 1080p before encoding for Blu-Ray? Maybe add some sharpness too? Thoughts?

My first Blu-Ray...

Seems to be a little bit of a tradeoff - uprezzing will require interpolation.

I've looked at both on blu ray, and I don't really see a difference between 1080 and 720.

A blu-ray player or a TV will do it for you. I don't see a point. If your software can master a 720p BD then go with it.

1080p source from the HVX200 looks better then 720p source encoded to both a 1080 br and a 720 br. From my tests, just stick with the 720p when you output your stuff to br.
