I was trying slow motion last weekend and was noticing that the footage was soft at 720. I thought it was the lens at first, but testing tonight, it seems like its the 720. Does anyone stay away from shooting at 720 because the picture IQ is less?
Yes, 720 is a noticeably lower resolution than 1080. I use 1080p24 mostly, and switch to 720p60 if I know whatever I'm shooting would look good or work well in slow motion.
