720 30p over 60p? Please help!

I've read in other posts that the 720 30p mode is actually over 60p and that is why it is read as 60p in Toast. Could someone explain how to handle this footage in FCP 6 in order to not have it play back at twice the speed?

I couldn't find this spelled out anywhere in any of the earlier posts.

Log and transfer it in FCP, and then drop clip into the timeline and have FCP set up the sequence.

I've done this with 59.94 and it seems to work.

Also, have you looked at the remove pulldown checkbox in the L/T window?
