720 24p to 29.97 SD... problems

I shot an interview in 720 24p and now the producer needs the materials in NTSC SD. I find that when I just have Compressor do it in FCP, it looks like crap. Do I somehow need to do a 2:3 pulldown or re-render the whole sequence or something? What works best? I know it won't be easy.

I think I figured it out. I just rebuilt the sequence in a 29.97 Sequence in FCP and have to re-render. Thanks Mac Pro

would it have worked to dub from the P2 cards to tape (in camera)?

"Compressor Quick-Reference Guide" is a must have, and only about $23 on line.

Compressor will do a fantastic job at this, better than droping it into an FCP Sequence and rendering. It's not blatantly obvious how to set it up in Compressor, so I recommend the book.
