720/24or25pN possible cature with FCP 6 or not ??

I search so much if I can find but no results and no directly answer

It is very fine that the HVX can record pN but is it also possible to capture this file in FCP 6 with no extra device only the camera and the powermac g5 ????
I can't find any option on cature present in FCP 6 for this format

There is no way to capture 720 25pN live with the camera and the Mac, as it's a format that can only be captured on the P2 Card.
If you do so then you can capture through FCP with the camera in the "disk" mode so the Mac can mount the P2 card on the desktop.

If I'm not wrong the procedure is to select the camera in the P2 mode, then keep pressed the button to activate the disk mode. Of course you have first connected the two via firewire.
