I have been shooting on 60P with my 60D a few times. I am not sure what to do though to make it so smooth how I see it slowed down in other videos. Here is an example of how it looks. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=THWnuDfLzSc

Just another note. When you slow footage down in FC ...alot of time it creates a ghosting effect..unless you remove the frame blending.
Make a copy of the master file. Open the copy in Cinema Tools. Select Conform. Select 24fps. Import into FCP. Edit your slowed down footage. Search for the answer first next time. Never take blind faith in what people tell you is the answer. Try it yourself and know for sure.
The end result will be about 60 percent slower. You can use FCP to slow it further and it will be better then slowing 24p footage.
EDIT: You can select any frame rate you choose. 24p will make it the slowest. 30p or 29.97 will be best if that is your timeline.
