I've volunteered to video a speed skating and figure skating event next week using my Canon XF300, which I recently obtained. I am wonder if for such action sports it is better to shoot in 30p or 60p, and what is the best shutter speed. I will be shooting at 1280 x 720
I've seen advice on the web that runs the gamut, with 60p at 1/125 currently in first place.
I would like to get the sharpest yet smoothest motion I can get. Any advice?
Thanks.
Dan
