60p to 30p?

Hi,
I would like to film only at 60p for better slow motions. What appens with parts that i want to be normal speed? I should cut 1 frame every 2, and the motion could suffer, ... or not?

I presume you are talking about 720p60, not 1080 (which at 60 fps is interlaced.) What about the sound when you drop out your frames? In any event it sounds like you are going the "do it in post" route. You really don't need the variable speeds the HVX provides to do that. Why don't you try it out and see if you like that workflow?
 
What software are you using to edit? I have 60P footage that I slowed to 23.98 rather nicely, and I have also just dropped it into a 23.98 timeline and rendered and they mathed perfectly.
