What I've been doing until now to achieve slow motion is
1. shoot in 60p
2. drop onto 24p timeline in premiere pro
3. set speed to 40%
The situation that I'm in doesn't give me a whole lot of time to pick and choose which shots to set up as a slow motion shot, so what I am wondering is, what are the disadvantages to shooting everything in 60p and choosing in post the shots to use as slow motion in a 24p timeline.
I might end up with 300 shots by the end of the night and I'd really rather not hand-separate the 24p and 60p footage before transcoding it to an editing format.
Thanks.
