60i/24p/30p on the same tape?

Hey,

I recently bought a DVX100B and I'm experimenting with things, loving it all the way. I had a quick questions about the recording formats:

Can you record in 60i and 24p AND 30p on the same tape and capture automatically (batch or otherwise) still? Or would I have to import each section of tape with a different framerate separately? Would it be best just to have 3 separate takes for each framerate?

I use Final Cut Pro, which I guess would be one of the deciding factors?

Thanks!

You can record all the formats on a single tape. As for importing into FCP, I don't know. I know that Vegas can capture w/o changing anything and automatically detect the frame rate change.

I know Avid is very down with said capturing as well. Do some snooping around the FPC forum.
