Quick question..I have some video I recorded @ 60i and now I imported into adobe premier pro...but...obviously...there are those scan lines. How am I suppose to bring it down and/or down convert it so I can use the footage without the scan lines. I know this is basic..but I just got my A1's and the documentation sucks!!!

This has nothing to do with your A1. This is video 101, interlaced footage displayed on a progressive scan monitor will display interlacing and related artifacts. Progressive footage will do the same on an interlaced TV without the addition of 2-3 or 2-3-3-2 pulldown.

Are you editing the footage in 29.976 timeline. If its HDV you can't play it out to a standard TV and if you are displaying it on a computer monitor you will see the interlacing. Render the footage out as a 720p or 480p .WMV and if you play it back on the computer you shouldn't see interlacing

Okay, that makes obvious sense. Reading stuff on this forum and experiencing is quite different! Why is my downconvert button not highlighted?

Additionally, I assume my audio is out of sync because my dual core only has 1gb of ram? I guess I should wait until I get my new computer here in two days which has 4gb...but that still doesn't solve why the downconvert selection is still unselectable...
