Hi all!
I have a Canon 60D and use it for make videos. The problem is when I play the video in a tv monitor if there is some pan movement or somebody move in the video there is flickering issue...this is because it's a progressive video, not interlaced. If I play the video in a computer monitor no problem...
settings are: video full HD 25 fps, Iso 125, shutter 1/50.
I have seen the same problem in many videos in progressive mode, not interlaced.
Question is: how can I minimize flicker in the video not interlaced?
Thanks for your help

Michael

It seems to me that what you need is a better playback system. What software/hardware are you using?
An easy way to check if this is trues is the following: do you see that problem in vimeo flicks too? if not, then find a clip that gives you that issue, upload it to vimeo, and watch it there. If the problem appears when you play the original video but not in the vimeo version, it's a playback issue.

Problem appears only on tv monitor, not in a computer monitor. It's a typical problem of not interlaced video, because it's progressive mode, and there is this light strobe-flicker effect on pan movement and if there is a subject that move on the scene
