60D test footage with technicolor Cine-style graded in Magic Bullet

Hi DVXusers,

I finally sold my older camera and bought a 60D and I am loving it. I just wanted to share with all of you something I put together. I went around the neighborhood and shot this all in handheld - my tripod was being borrowed that time - but all smoothing was done in FCP 7.

Thats some steady hand held video. That smooth cam works wonders doesn't it? Be carful with that vignette in Mb looks. I could feel it in the shot a few times. I've done that myself before. Looks great though, love San Juan.
 
Thanks! Yeah, sometimes you just get carried away and after a few hours of grading your eyes just become used to it. I should stand up every 1 hour. But glad you like it. Peace
 
Good job with the filming. The song was really splendid and I enjoyed the laid back feel that you used to edit it with. Some scenes felt a little too static or dragged on a little, but it was still enjoyable to watch. Especially that beautiful steadycam pan you did at the field with the bus driving by. Keep the camera rolling and make what you like to film :D
 
Hey Thanks! This was shot about 2 hours in the afternoon, it went pretty good, it rained so it gave my shots a little natural saturation... Natural wet down... hehe. Keep filming! :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)
