so did you use LUTbuddy and the cinestyle LUT, or do your own thing?

I didn't have those at the time, but I am getting more comfortable working with it. I was just happy to have the dynamic range.

cool,I shot a no-budget feature this summer with cinestyle. We started shooting a couple weeks after it came out. I did a few tests and saw everybody elses and decided to go fo it. I'm editing the film too, and have just been using my own custom curves to bring the footage back. Ive been fairly happy with the results.
