60d horribly noisy/artifacts?

I just bought a 60d to tide me over until the 5d mark III and it sees to be extremely noisy in video
mode. Doesn't matter which PP I use, there is more noise than in my HVX200 days? When I use technicolor PP
It's really bad, exposing all that the crushed blacks normally hide, but even in the mid tones there is noise. I'm going to post a clip for ya'll to look at, but in the mean time, anyone else have this problem? Or did I just expect too much out of this cam. By the way I am shooting at the proper ISO 160, 320 etc... and viewing in FCP, AE on a apple cinema display.

Technicolor works best in high contrast subjects in my experience. It also overexposes very easily which is where you may see artifacts (cheeks may become blocky, the sky is totally blown out).

Most of the time I get clean, sharp images out of my 60D. Perhaps its your monitor - it really does like much better on an HDTV. But still weird that you're having such a crazy problem. Maybe your ISO is bumped up too high.

OK here is a link to the h.264 file straight from cam. ISO 160, Aperture f8, shutter 1/50 using PP Nuetral

the noise on the garbage can and fence to the right is very noticable

What the? footage has less artifacts in VIMEO... Looks way worse on my machine? Sorry to keep posting but I'm trying to decide if I should send the 60d in to get checked.

You already know your VIMEO looks fine... So, it boils down to this: how much noise is horribly noisy to you?
